DomoSafety AG and the Hirslanden Group have agreed on a long-term strategic partnership under which Hirslanden is making a capital investment in DomoSafety AG.
DomoSafety is a leading company in the digital health segment and develops innovative solutions in the field of patient safety, health monitoring and decision support in the home care environment. The disruptive solutions developed offer more safety, quality of life and independence for people wanting to stay in their own environment, enjoying personalised care.
As a leading Swiss healthcare provider, the Hirslanden Group, together with its public and private cooperation partners, focuses on integrated medical care along the entire life cycle, or what is known as the continuum of care. The Hirslanden Group comprises 17 hospitals in 10 cantons, many of them with an emergency ward. It also operates 4 outpatient surgery centres, 17 radiology and 5 radiotherapy institutes. The Group has 2,506 partner doctors and 10,417 employees, 498 of whom are salaried doctors. Hirslanden is the largest medical network in Switzerland and reports sales of CHF 1,804 million in the 2019/20 financial year. As of the reporting date 31.3.2020, the group treated 107,491 patients on 471,717 care days as inpatients. The patient mix is made up of 49.2% patients with basic insurance, 29.3% with semi-private insurance and 21.5% with private insurance.
Hirslanden stands for first-class medical quality, guaranteed by highly qualified specialists with many years of experience. The Group differentiates itself in the market as a system provider: interdisciplinary medical competence centres and specialised institutes enable optimal and individual treatment of even highly complex cases.
