Spital Lachen and Hirslanden Klinik Im Park have decided to enter into a cross-location cooperation in cardiac medicine from January 2021.
The Cardiology department at Spital Lachen already covers a wide range of cardiac medicine and has a large cardiological outpatient clinic. Cardiac Medicine at Klinik Im Park offers the entire spectrum of cardiology and heart surgery as what is known as a “tertiary centre”. The range of services offered by the two hospitals complement each other perfectly in order to provide the population of Schwyz with high-quality, efficient care at a high level at every stage of treatment.
The collaboration will bring further benefits for the two cooperation partners, as Spital Lachen and Klinik Im Park want to jointly collect case and quality figures in the future and establish cross-location training and further education opportunities.
The details of the cooperation will be further refined and defined in the coming months.
