Since January 2021, a partnership has existed between Spital Lachen and Hirslanden Klinik Im Park in the specialist area of cardiac medicine. Since December 2021, the Hirslanden Group has held a stake of around 10 per cent in Spital Lachen AG and has joined the Board of Directors.
The cardiac medical services offered by Spital Lachen and Hirslanden Klinik Im Park complement each other ideally. Cardiology at Spital Lachen with its large outpatient department and cardiac medicine at Klinik Im Park, which as a so-called «tertiary centre» has the entire spectrum of cardiology and cardiac surgery at its disposal, offer the population of Schwyz integrated care at a high level.
Thanks to this cooperation, not only will the primary outpatient and inpatient medical care of the population in the districts of March and Höfe be ensured in the long term, but the competitiveness of Spital Lachen will also be further strengthened. Access to highly specialised doctors in selected fields is also being improved, as well as the offer of medical specialities, for example through the exchange of specialist staff between the cooperation partners.
