Hirslanden Clinique La Colline is publishing its quality indicators: As part of its quality approach, for the second consecutive year, Clinique La Colline is publishing its quality indicators, as assessed by ANQ* and OFSP*. The figures represent the data on operations, infections and accidents in hospital settings.
Geneva, 16 January 2017
By publishing these quality indicators regularly, we aim to provide everyone with the means to assess and compare the quality of the medical services offered by the hospital. "We intend to continue this approach of transparency and trust with our patients and staff. This year, again, the results show that we are making patient satisfaction a priority," says Stéphan Studer, hospital Manager of Clinique La Colline.
"We have kept the same indicators as last year and added a new measurement reflecting the rate of post-operative infections following colon surgery. Together these indicators are the ones that still best reflect our two quality priorities: safety and patient satisfaction," adds Aurélia Gambaraza, Head of Quality at Clinique La Colline. The addition of this new indicator is in accordance with ANQ expectations given the hospital's main activities, which are orthopaedic surgery, gastrointestinal surgery and neurosurgery.
The indicators are shown in the same format – an infographic, which is available on the hospital's website. The aim of this new infographic for 2014 is to provide patients with a simple and effective tool so as to enable them to come to an informed opinion about the consistent quality level at Clinique La Colline.
