For the first time, Hirslanden Clinique La Colline is publishing its quality indicators: As part of its quality approach, for the first time, Clinique La Colline is publishing its quality indicators, as assessed by ANQ* and OFSP*. The figures give a raw account of the data on operations, infections and accidents in hospital settings.

By publishing these data, we aim to provide everyone with the means to assess the quality of the medical services offered by the hospital. "This is an entirely voluntary step. We aim to establish a relationship of trust with our patients and staff and we hope that this trust will be enhanced by the transparent publication of our quality indicators," says Stéphan Studer, Hospital Manager of Clinique La Colline.
"We have chosen approximately 10 indicators that best reflect our two quality priorities: safety and patient satisfaction," adds Aurélia Gambaraza, Head of Quality at Clinique La Colline.
These indicators are shown in the form of an infographic, which is available on the hospital's website. The aim is to enable patients to come to an informed opinion about the quality level achieved at Clinique La Colline.
The infographics relate to the years 2012 and 2013. As soon as newer figures are released, the infographics will be updated to provide a simple and effective means of comparing different years.

Clinique La Colline is located just a few minutes from the centre of Geneva and offers multidisciplinary medical and surgical services through more than 20 different specialties. Following an extension at the end of 2014, the hospital has state-of-the-art facilities, with 100 bedrooms and suites, an emergency department, six operating theatres and its own outpatients department. Around 280 members of staff and 400 affiliated doctors oversee the health and wellbeing of patients.
