In general, the daily routine of the nursing team is as follows:
- From 7:00 am waking by the responsible nurse. Blood pressure, pulse and temperature check, possibly weight check, any required blood samples
- From 7:30 a.m. breakfast, daily newspapers, tea
- From 11:30 a.m. lunch
- From 2:30 p.m. shift handover at the patient’s bedside
- From 5:30 p.m. dinner
Between these fixed periods, examinations, therapies and individual care are carried out upon consultation with the responsible nurses. The nursing team allows for a flexible daily routine for patients with private insurance to make sure their needs can be taken into account and longer waiting times avoided.
You will receive information from the responsible member of the nursing staff concerning any medically prescribed therapy (depending on the type of room you are in and the physiotherapy prescribed).
