Anesthesiology is the branch of medicine that deals with anesthesia and resuscitation.
Anesthesia allows the partial or total abolition of painful sensitivity allowing the realization without memorization and without pain of surgical interventions and painful or invasive medical procedures.
As for resuscitation, anaesthetists take care of patients with or likely to present one or more acute visceral failures directly involving the prognosis.
Choice of anaesthetist
If you have complementary insurance, you have a free choice of anaesthetist at the center, which we will try to respect as far as possible (depending on the organization of the surgical program).
