A new Hirslanden Clinique La Colline rehabilitation centre for women will open in Carouge in the spring.
There are many diseases affecting women, and a large number of them are considered taboo subjects. Setting up a specialist centre will undoubtedly improve care for these patients.
The range of services offered will cover not only perineological rehabilitation (pre- and post-natal services, incontinence, endometriosis, pain, etc.) but also other diseases such as lumbar pain, osteoarthritis pain, postural disorders, etc.
Diseases of the pelvic floor often have repercussions on patients' everyday lives and their emotional state. That is why there is a need for these women to talk about their problems and for them to have a place where they will be treated and solutions found.
The centre for pelvic floor rehabilitation aims to become a reference centre in the care of patients with endometriosis in particular, which will be achieved by working with specialist Geneva doctors in this field.
This new centre will offer care for all women, including mothers, young women and older women in a place designed and equipped to meet their specific needs. Appointments will take place in complete privacy in a comfortable, welcoming environment.
