A European reference centre for state-of-the-art technology
Technical progress now makes it possible to treat urological pathologies more effectively and much less invasively than in the past. The Clinic's urology center is at the forefront of these advances.
In cases of urinary incontinence, he offers both conservative treatments (medication and physiotherapy) and minimally invasive surgery (strengthening of the sphincter by placing two balloons at the level of the bladder neck). It is the use of this innovative technique that has earned it distinction by the "European Association of Urology" as a reference center. The operation is most often performed on an outpatient basis.
The urology center also offers less invasive surgical treatments for prostate conditions. The use of the KTP Green Light Laser 120W, for example, makes it possible to perform procedures similar to standard resections but reducing the number of possible complications. In parallel with conventional interventions, the urology center also performs robotically assisted surgery in the treatment of the prostate.
Urinary stones are most often treated with medication, but emergency management, if there is a risk of infection, is also offered. The Centre is on duty seven days a week. It offers rapid and comprehensive management of urological emergencies at all times, thanks to close collaboration with the Emergency Department of the Clinique des Grangettes.
