Childbirth is something expectant mothers have a lot of questions about. This is perfectly normal, and we are here to provide you with all the information you need. Familiarising yourself with the place where you’ll be giving birth is crucial – our team of midwives will be happy to welcome you at any time during your pregnancy to help you prepare for your stay. They will show you around the patient rooms, the delivery rooms and the nursery, and tell you all about our services, including birth preparation classes.
Your obstetrician-gynaecologist and our entire team are on hand at all times to discuss your birth plan and help you make it a reality. The arrival of your newborn should be a moment of calm.
Visits can be held in French or English.

Dates, times and location
Visits, which must be booked in advance, take place at the Clinique Cecil maternity ward, Avenue Ruchonnet 53, 1003 Lausanne:
- Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm
- Sundays at 2:30 pm or 4:00 pm
