Cecil Maternity Ward warmly invites mums-to-be to attend its birth preparation classes.

During birth preparation classes, the midwives at Cecil maternity ward will provide you with information on issues relating to pregnancy, childbirth and the postpartum period. The classes will also cover topics such as relaxation, epidurals, breastfeeding and good posture.
We'll also take you on a tour of the maternity ward and a delivery room.

Please note that a parenting class is also included, and will be held on the last Monday of the course.
Dates and times
Classes are held:
- Mondays or Tuesdays from 6:45 pm to 8:15 pm for five consecutive weeks
- Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

Participants
- Classes are reserved for mothers-to-be planning to give birth at Clinique Cecil
- From the 28th week of pregnancy
- Small groups of six or seven couples
- No more than 14 persons
- Classes are held in French as a rule, with some available in English or Spanish
Duration and cost
One evening a week for five consecutive weeks, or one full day (Saturday)
CHF 250 per couple (please ask your health insurance provider about their contribution).
