Genetic analysis enables us to obtain more precise information about a person's health, and to improve their quality of life on the basis of their individual genetic predispositions.
Hereditary predisposition, also known as genetic predisposition, is partly responsible for the development and evolution of many diseases. In genetic medicine, we examine a person's genetic make-up, i.e. their genes. We calculate the personal risk of hereditary diseases and deduce which preventive measures and/or personalized treatments are necessary, appropriate and effective - for the person concerned and his or her relatives. In addition, genetic analyses in the field of pharmacogenetics help us to understand why certain drugs work for some people but not for others - or even have side-effects.
