In 1909, the "Asylum" for the sick, elderly, and orphans was established in Cham. In the following years, the asylum evolved into Cham Hospital and, in 1998, became AndreasKlinik Cham Zug.
Cham has its own hospital: the AndreasKlinik. We can be proud of this, as having a local hospital is by no means a given today, but it is a key factor for the area. When the Citizen's Community of Cham established the 'Asylum' for the sick, elderly, and orphans in 1909, they had no idea how significant this milestone would be for the development of Cham and the Ennetsee region."
