Acupuncture
Treatment
Acupuncture is offered as a supportive measure to pregnant women and women who have recently given birth . Acupuncture has been used in China for a long time to facilitate the birth process, and it also complements conventional antenatal classes. Results from studies confirm the positive effect that acupuncture therapy has on labour pain and the duration of the birth. This treatment helps to soften the cervix, which in turn shortens the first stage of labour. It can also be used to alleviate pregnancy complaints.
After the birth, acupuncture helps with breastfeeding problems such as blocked milk ducts and lack of milk production as well as exhaustion and other complaints.
Please note that at this time we can only admit couples who are registered with us for birth.
Duration and costs
Depending on the treatment plan, acupuncture treatment can be carried out in 20-minute sessions between once and several times a week. It costs CHF 60.- per session.
Combination offer together with K-Taping: CHF 100.- (instead of CHF 120.-)

Ayurvedic massage
Treatment
Knowledge of life and the right way of living. Indian treatment methods, which are preventive in nature, aim to maintain good health and regenerate the organism.
Ayurvedic massage does wonders for your overall well-being and creates inner harmony. It supports the contact between mother and child and promotes emotional bonding. It is also relaxing and balancing, which means it is a wonderful way to pamper and enjoy yourself when you are pregnant. The massage supports the elasticity of the skin, improves posture and supports the legs, back and pelvis. The movements are gentle, soft, slow and are performed with warm, fragrant oil. Special, high-quality Ayurvedic oils are used.
Please note that at this time we can only admit couples who are registered with us for birth.

Foot reflexology massage
Treatment
Foot reflexology massage is based on the theory that certain zones on the foot are connected to corresponding organs of the body. The massage stimulates blood circulation in the feet and activates the reflex zones, which has a regenerating and healing effect. Blockages can be released by applying pressure to the corresponding reflex zones. Reflexology massage improves organ and tissue function, which in turn promotes relaxation and pain relief. A foot reflexology massage is recommended at regular shorter intervals for the relief of pregnancy discomfort. The course of treatment is adapted to the personal needs of every woman.
Please note that at this time we can only admit couples who are registered with us for birth.

K-Taping
Treatment
The application of elastic tape to the skin indirectly influences muscle function and can thus alleviate or prevent discomfort. The tape does not contain any medicinal active ingredients; it works through movement and can therefore be used without any problems during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Indications or areas of application: Carpal tunnel syndrome, water retention, tension in the neck muscles, posture therapy for the back and general back complaints, as well as other health issues such as sciatica. Relaxation of the abdomen towards the end of pregnancy, preparation for the birth (as an alternative to traditional acupuncture for needle phobia). Use during the postnatal period: Pubic softening, strengthening of the abdominal muscles , diastasis recti (in addition to the existing services for individual diastasis recti therapy by K. Zimmermann), blocked milk ducts, breast inflammation, scar taping for a caesarean section after the wound has healed fully), and digestive complaints.
Please note that at this time we can only admit couples who are registered with us for birth.
Duration and costs
Depending on the treatment plan, K-Taping can be done once a week. It costs CHF 60 per session.
