Personal Statement
“I have been a plastic surgeon for more than 16 years. During this time I was lucky to experience a wide range of operations in many different countries. Only this way I was able to observe different consultants’ approaches to similar operations and could amalgamate their skills into my practice.
Reconstructive Microsurgery is of my specific interest and I have tried to tailor my development also towards this field. One of my career aims is to broaden my exposure to different surgical techniques in order to give my patients the feeling that they are always treated with the adequate and best method.
Moreover, I am happy to teach others so that they can share my knowledge. Also my voluntary work as a doctor in third world countries is valuable for me. My main aim as consultant as part of the medical group is to be involved in research development specifically in reconstructive surgery, hand surgery and microsurgery."
