A complete radiological centre

The clinic has an adult radiology institute to ensure all radiological requests. Renowned doctors, FMH specialists, as well as high-performance employees handle all the services requested in medical imaging.

All examinations carried out within the Institute of Radiology are covered by basic insurance.

The technical platform consists in particular of a high-field MRI, a latest-generation CT-scanner, two digitized radiology rooms, two machines to perform mammography examinations, a mineralogetry machine and five ultrasound machines.

These devices are updated regularly to be at the forefront of the latest news. Thus constituted, the Institute of Radiology guarantees the excellent care of patients.

The attending physician, or other specialist consulted by the patient, has immediate access to the results of examinations via the web platform dedicated to the visualization of the images.

New ISFM Category B Training Center in Radiology

The radiology department of the Clinique des Grangettes has obtained accreditation as an ISFM Category B training center. This recognition now allows us to welcome postgraduate trainee doctors from their third year of specialization in radiology.

This program, under the supervision of PD Dr. Joanna Gariani and Prof. Maria Isabel Vargas, provides a high-level learning environment, combining theoretical teaching and practical training in the main fields of the specialty. The radiology institute offers trainee doctors interdisciplinary exchanges and rigorous supervision to ensure a comprehensive and enriching training experience.

What is an MRI? 

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) differs from conventional radiology because it does not use ionizing radiation and thus ensures absolute radiation protection.

MRI makes it possible to investigate immobile areas such as the brain, spine, urogenital system or joint regions.
