We offer a holistic approach and individualised medical care to patients with prostate cancer. We optimise treatment pathways by reducing waiting times and ensuring high-quality follow-up, while also respecting patient rights. We always keep our patients updated on the current situation regarding examinations and treatments. We make decisions together. We place particular importance on the patient’s and their relatives’ involvement in the treatment pathway, from the diagnosis being given to post-treatment follow-up, bearing in mind their social, psychological, physical and spiritual needs.
We are aware of the importance of coordinated treatment and care. Our decisions are made jointly by all specialists as part of interdisciplinary meetings. Our specialists draw upon national and international recommendations to propose the best possible treatment to each patient. Our meetings are based on mutual respect and each participant contributes in order to ensure optimal care throughout all steps of the patient’s treatment pathway.
We encourage the development of our qualified staff through internal and external educational events. Our doctors and nursing staff maintain their level of knowledge by regularly participating in continuous training courses.
We are committed to implementing directives developed by professional associations in our daily work with our patients. We regularly revise our work processes, maintain a tumour data register and document every stage of treatment. We regularly evaluate our patient’s satisfaction.
We support research by encouraging our patients to participate in clinical studies, if they are willing to do so, in order to improve existing treatments and offer a better prognosis to patients affected by prostate cancer.
