Interview
Why did you choose your profession?
Even at a young age, I realised that I wanted to work with people and in the healthcare sector. After working for many years in nursing care and in the recovery room, I was looking for a new challenge in 2017 and switched to reception at Bellaria. I enjoy the organisation and administrative work, and I like being the first point of contact for our patients. It was also important to me that I continue to have contact with people and stay in the healthcare sector.
What do you like about your job and what keeps you motivated every day?
What I like about my work is the organisational responsibility and contact with different people, whether it’s the patients, doctors or my team colleagues. Every day, I learn something new from my many enriching interactions.
My daily motivation comes from the patients who leave Bellaria feeling satisfied and grateful. I’m also motivated by how well we work together in our interprofessional team.
What’s the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is being surrounded every day by interesting people and my wonderful team. I also find it fulfilling that we can make things run smoother for patients during they stays with us.
What do you like about the working environment at the outpatient Bellaria Surgical Centre?
I really like the professional working environment and the friendly and respectful atmosphere at Bellaria. I feel comfortable here and like coming to work. Our team always has a lot of fun together while still providing service of consistently high quality.
My superiors listen to my requests and concerns, and all staff are allowed to express their opinions and contribute their ideas. We are valued and supported, which is not always a given for an employer today.
