With nearly 200 in vitro fertilizations (IVF) per year, the medically assisted reproduction center, BabyImpulse, present at the Clinique des Grangettes, is one of the largest and most welcoming in Switzerland.
In vitro fertilization: a long road
Infertility is never easy to live with, especially when a strong desire for a child sets in. As a result, more and more couples are resorting to in vitro fertilization. The medically assisted procreation center (MAP) of the Clinique des Grangettes provides them with a multidisciplinary team (specialized gynecologists but also biologists, andrologists and psychologists). Also a research center on infertility, it aims to make the long path of in vitro fertilization as simple as possible for couples who make this choice.
Adapting to couples and their request
The advantage of the PMA center of Grangettes is to offer personalized care of the couple by a specialist doctor. Indeed, each gynecologist who collaborates with the center has his own consulting practice in town. Our reproductive doctors have knowledge in gynecology but also in psychology and endocrinology to simplify the procedure and avoid the multiplication of stakeholders. In vitro fertilization raises many questions for couples who use it and our doctors must answer them with tact and finesse, including in moments of doubt and emotion. More than 200 couples trust the Clinique des Grangettes every year to accompany them on the path to medically assisted procreation.
